+1 tire sizes?

I'm looking at new rubber on my car, staying with the stock wheels for now

Is there a +1 size I can run to fill the wheel well better, gain some width and not rub?

More concerned with the rear than the front.

Yokohama has some good looking rubber these days, any comments there?

Other favorite brands?

Not too worried cost wise, just want lots of stick and some more meat.

Launch stick would be real nice as I have major wheel hop issues with my stock 2/3 gone Bridgestones. I really have to watch in in first and early second or it's kangaroo time.

thanks

You can go with 315/30 and 235/40 on the stock wheels. I have used Michelin PS2s and Toyo R-888s.

if your still AWD you need to pay attention to overall tire height it must stay in portion with the rear or you'll chew up the front drivetrain

Not to mention if you have the stock Turbo Hollow's, then you have spacers that alter the wheel placement. Larger tires may mean a change in this area.
