Looking at an 01 996TT in Roslyn,NY and wondered if there were any recommendations for who to trust with a PPI? Would also be interested if anyone is in the area who would be willing to eyeball the car before I take the next step? Car has an accident reported on carfax of course seller says it was minor but doesn't have any documentation.

I work a few miles away from Porsche of Roslyn, what car are you looking at there?

 

In my personal experience, I've never seen minor accidents reported to carfax. I'm not saying that's not the case here, but I'd go in with your eyes open.

 

Will certainly be cautious. I do think the car got a CPO after the accident so hopefully it was minor sheet metal damage.
