50k mile service question

I've had my baby just over a year now and she has turned 50,000 miles I'm getting ready to take her to my indie mechanic for some maintenance...new DVs and F hose, new plugs and coils, oil change... I've already replaced the air filter, cabin filter and will be replacing the brake pads myself as soon as they arrive.

Question is this: should I have him flush the radiators/coolant? Also, with the 6 speed, do you guys recommend replacing the transmission fluid? I'm not entirely sure what previous maintenance was done on the car... Just curious what you guys think is appropriate at 50k

pretty much whatever is required by the dealer for the most part...better to be safe then sorry, you have a turbo, if something goes wrong, you will be a$$ out.... play it safe

Change all your fluids. Don't forget brake fluid. My car only has 20,000 miles and I have done them, but I track it.

Brake fluid flush every 2 years regardless of mileage.

The coolant system has some check valves in it that don't play nice with a simple drain and refill type of service. I took mine to the dealer for this because they have a pressurized machine that forces out all the old coolant while filling the new stuff, thus opening the check valves. My indie didn't have this machine and recommended I have this done at the dealer.
