That's what I did... Pull out the ashtray and there are a couple of plastic torx screws underneath. Unscrew those and the console with the switches pops out. Wire it up there and then slide the circuit board under the center console

911's don't have a Homelink console installed from the factory?

To the best of my knowledge, Homelink is only a 2005 option (as well as perhaps 2004). Earlier models don't have it, nor was it available as a special order option.

That's surprising as the Audi's had Homelink since 2000...

My 98 E320 has Homelink. Heck my Corvette had Homelink

I don't get it either.

My 04 Cayenne had Homelink and I was disappointed that the 03 911 Turbo didn't? This is a great idea and I will be using the blanks for the garage doors. Thanks for the info.

So surprised it doesn't have it. Cool idea to use the switches, can someone post a pic of how they have it wired?

Driver's side middle button: rear spoiler manual control. Passenger side bottom button: rear window wiper. Driver's side bottom button: I have no idea! (mine is also blank)

On my left side, I have middle = rear spoiler control, lower = rear wiper
On my right side, I have lower = cabin lights (turns on the dome light, map lights, door lights with one click)

My rear wiper doesn't exist anymore, so that button is coming out and the garage door opener button is going in.

That blank spot is reserved for the optional floor lighting switch.

Here is another car I was looking at. The drivers side middle button looks like an exhaust? I believe this car was a non-turbo C4S. Thanks in advance.
