No I have not... but I have taken those parts apart many times... even today..... lol
Honestly, screwing around with sprays, fans, Nos, ducking etc etc is really nothing but a temporary fix at best and probably nothing more then a waste of time.
For cooling get good ICs... for quicker spool and better efficiency get better piping... for more HP get a good turbo that carries up on top and is not peaky... etc.
Cutting corners and or looking for just a Peak HP number can be achieved by many just by putting in better fuel and turning it up(boost). Thus if you want a good overall system you have to address all of the issues and not just turbos, flash, exhaust....
My point is that the area under the curve on a dyno plot does not come cheap.. peaky HP numbers do.... and I have seen many of these... you get what you pay for.
I developed a kit that trapped 138.8 mph at 1.3bar that picked up 32 mph in the second half of the 1/4 mile... that is what I call good range of power and efficiency...

Is there any gains from removing the stock airbox and installing the fender intakes as pictured above?

It definitely saves room and get rid of a lot of mess, but HP?
