Drove new blow through system w/ IC mounted DVs
Sean
You need to drive my car because it has a triple carbon fiber clutch and think you would change your mind. The car is very streetable and even an old man like you would like it ;-) Remember cars and coffee today.
Cheers

Rob,
We both have the ATS/Carbonetics triple carbon. Mine is the 900 hp version, yours is the 1100 version.
If there is anything more about your car you would like to know, just ask me (your Markski exhaust is loud inside your cabin, btw
)

It's been my experience with multiplate clutches that how they break in and actually breaking them in seems to make a big difference. I had a multiplate in my last car and when I first began driving it I had a heck of a time. then it got better, waaay better! Guys would come over, drive my car, then buy the clutch, and then ***** LOUD about how it felt nothing like mine. One or two stuck it out and ended up enjoying the clutch, more than one had it pulled and a big heavy single disk put in - yuck!
So, if you've not already got a ton of time on that clutch wait a bit and drive it more. The more disks the more lightswitch it's likely to be but hopefully with time it will be easier to manage. IMO for high power multiple disks is the way to go no matter what short of a larger diameter clutch. High friction materials and high pressure weights do nothing but wear components - including the driver!

Carbon clutches are, and I don't care what anyone says about their grandma driving one, a pain in the **** if you are not focused at the stoplight. Its as much a race car as a street car. I would not recomend it as even a fair weather DD especially if you encounter a lot of traffic.
It took me a few moderately hard launches at the dragstrip to finally break my ATS in on my TT, and luckily Bobby had already broken in my ATS on my GT2 when I purchased it. When people say they are so easy to drive a grandma could do it, it's no joke. But they need to be fully broken in first.
It's supposed to be on a 3.8L motor with gt35r on a 1100rwhp car lol Europipe is not going to do it... its catless full 3 inch all the way... plus he has the LOUD version lol

Yes, Mark, I know....I have listened to it many times. It sounds great, but is very loud inside the cabin. Actually, had the guy bought my EP I would get one from you, but he did not want to pay my asking price (which was admittedly fairly high).
I was kidding.. lol
thats a loud version... I have another version...
here is the DB test of the quiet one full 3 inch custom mufflers NO cats on my big turbos...

Okay the first vid is pretty helpful but it's all at idle yes? How about at highway speeds - say right where they usually drone? 6th gear at say 65-70MPH? Hrm, how much is that meter, might be interesting if a few of us tested especially those of us that DO have drone for a comparison!

this is the 3 inch all the way... I seem out there where they reduce the OD to 2.5"... that does make a difference... I can make these with 2.5" OD as well... that would be super quiet...
