The Route is from London to New York, 8 days, 8 countries, driving 3000 miles.

With key check-points and parties on route in London, Amsterdam, Copenhagen (Denmark), Stockholm (Sweden) and after flying all cars and passengers into the US where we will have our first stop in Boston thereafter Quebec, Toronto and then final in New York.

The 2010 event will combine automobiles with music, film, and entertainment throughout the 3000 miles, closing the streets in each city to create a Gumball festival!

The dates of the event are the Gumball's traditional first week of April 30th - 7th of May 2010.

The fee is £30,000 per car (two people), for a full-on week of partying, high jinks and adrenaline fuelled adventure!

The fee includes hotels each night, food, parties, checkpoints, flying your car and the two drivers from Sweden to US)

Find a co-driver, find a sponsor, and DO IT!

 

You can count us in. We are trying to get 4-5 cars from SoCal together. After last year, I would not miss this for a newborn I hope we have a strong US presence there! If People are shipping cars over, Lets ship together.

 

If I could get a sponsor I'd be in... Otherwise, I don't need a 2nd loan on my house for an exhausting car ride with parties... as fun as it might be.

 

What types of sponsors are usually interested?
I was thinking about just dishing out all the cash myself, but if I can help promote someone and reduce my cost -- why not? Its all part of the fun to run with tagged cars!
