seller describes it as bluish purple silver so i'm guessing its not arctic, picture looks like it could be AS though, i emailed asking for paint name/code but he doesnt know

opinions would be appreciated

Looks like Mirage Metallic. Hard to tell from those pics.

 

thats what i though but describing it as bluish purple silver threw me off

 

blueish purple silver description would fit in more with a polar silver color. PS and AS can look similar depending on light conditons, PS will show more blue in lower light conditions. Paint code would be best. Hard to tell from pics but it looks AS to me

 

+1 for arctic silver. See if he can give you a picture in natural light (preferably on a sunny day).

 

i emailed him a while ago asking for other pics and giving him paint codes so he can try and figure out what it is

i'm not going to hold my breath though, its so cheap that i may just take a punt and buy it

 

90% of the cars were arctic... arctic has a bluish purplish color. You're probably good

IMO polar is just pure silver

 

That mirror could be Polar Silver since it has a bluish hue. Arctic Silver is just pure silver.

The dealer told me that Polar Silver had more of a blue tint than the Artic Silver.

 

Does anyone know the difference between Arctic Silver and Meridian Silver?

 

Meridian is a light champagne color. Think arctic silver mixed with a small amount of gold.

 

Arctic Silver has a slight purple hue.

 

You really need the paint code, on the mirror side it looks like polar to me, on the front side it looks arctic... Probably because of the mirror having a blue tint...
