Gemballa or TechArt Conversion to GT2
I would first like to thank everyone for their reply.
TTM0TION: in regard to the wheels depending on the kit I would go with black TechArt's or black Gemballa wheels.
I like the stock look, but want to do something unique thus going either TechArt or Gemballa. TechArt seems to be so popular, so I wouldnt really be that unique. I like this wing for the GT2
Then going with a carbon blade in black from the OEM 04 GT2 instead of the silver one as pictured here
I am really not 100% sure of this wing yet but seems to flow more with the GT2, then the TechArt style or the Gemballa style shown below
I found a great source to get the Gemballa stuff and they have everything in stock except the hood. If anyone is interested in the Gemballa stuff let me know and I can refer you to them.

Perhaps go with the RUF front, similar to stock but still very aggresive. The gemballa looks more japanese styling rather than german with sharp goofy lines, imho. I do agree though that gemballa spoiler does look awesome.
You also have to remember that most of the good looking pics of the gemballa are the widebody version that is major major dollar. Swordsman on the board did this and it looks pretty amazing. You could talk to him because I believe he asked the same question before making his decision.
Here's the thread to the pic of my Gemballa conversion, it is really a personal taste decision. Good luck!

Putting TechArt or Gemballa on a GT2 is just plain sacriligious. The GT2 is probably the most perfect looking derivative of the 996, why screw with it?
Oh well, I guess there is no accounting for taste on this board. To me it's like putting A1 steak sauce on seared japanese Kobe beef.
There are certain things one should not do to **** UP something perfect. One of those things is make it look like a vampire or a Honda Civic.
A GT2 is derived from the principle that form follows function, not the other way around. It's too bad most people here don't seem to get that concept. Oh well.

ditto, ditto, ditto, and once again, ditto again! can't agree more, hamann.
Sorry Tyson, I love the rear of the GT2, but the front doesn't do a thing for me. It's just a little to plain for me. That's not to put down the GT2. To me it's classic...... if that is what you like.
If I had a GT2, I would change the front and flair the front and rear fenders just a tad and then put some larger wheels and tires just to keep up with the power it already has.
