It looks like they'll be getting lots of experience on the GT's fairly quickly.

That's the truth!

You're right on the money about the "partschangers". Ford has "specially" trained mechanics to work on the SVT Cobra, and they match your description very well.

I think I would rather have a F 430. That video review is great. It would be less money than the ford plus the premium.

I don't know. At more than half the cost, our first year (04) F150 has been WAY more reliable and trouble free than our second year (04) Cayenne Turbo. Go figure.

Doesn't surprise me. I work @ a Ford dealer and trust me I see the worst of the worst. SO many DEAD 03-04 cars (no start) with more than just alt./battery issues. First On Race Day?? Sure. First to the pits.

Well they sure brag about the "Ford GT kicked Ferrari's *** at Le Mans" tagline, but it lost a hell of a lot of DNFs first for various parts failures.

Incidentally, the car gets thrashed from a being able to actually use it perspective in Automobile magazine this month.

I have several friends who have '03 Cobras, and they all have had multiple problems. Two of them have had their cars in for work over 18 times each.

The automobile market is segmented into Trucks, ... other stuff.... and sports cars.

Which end of the spectrum comes to mind FIRST when you hear the name F O R D?

I'll rest my case.
