on normal roads they're mostly 60 km/h (around 35 mph). on the freeways we have 100 km/h (around 60 mph).

welcome, great looking stable! A mate of mine just moved back to Aus with his family, if I ever make it over there will have to look you all up. Enjoy the GT2.

It's a GT2. Don't be worried about other peeps on the board mods. They are just trying to catch up with you. Enjoy it.

Yes, upgraded them to Kevin's ZC Hybrids (wanted the P to be a weapon, have a 630RWHP M3 BMW so no stranger to HP cars, but they all have one thing in common, they require serious amounts of respect!), but you don't have to upgrade your turbos to get a good tune, my first tune gave me some very good HP increases and gave me a bit more where I wanted it.....top end. Best thing about a tune rather than a flash is that they are custom to your car and what you want or need.

If I can recall around 400RWHP on DD also, but believe someone had tweaked it a little before I got it, after the first tune I think it was around 440 odd. You will get use to the power very quickly........even now at 500RWHP I'm looking for more it never....never ends.

speed limits are absurd.

is it true, as i recall from a previoius trip down under, that they will give you a ticket at 101 kmh?

yikes... i actually thought that i wouldn't be spending much money on mods for this car because it's already a handful the way it is. but from the things i've been reading on here i don't think that's possible

that's actually true. i got caught by a speed camera doing 63 at a 60 zone once. the law against speeding here is ridiculous. that's why having a valentine one here is very helpful

just got this '02 996 GT2 last july (with only 8000miles!!) and been enjoying it ever since. mod list is very disappointing compared to everyone here though. so far i have an evoms v-flow air intake, evoms DVs, milltek headers and exhaust, 997 ssk, and a set of iforged TE-10 wheels. mind you, this is my very first p-car so i still have a lot to learn about it.

a few things on the list to buy/get are GT3 seats in leather, tequipment rollbar, and hopefully an evoms ecu tune to get more power out of the car.

anyway, enough talk and on to the pics!!

here's a pic before the wheels were put on.

and just a few days ago...
P-Car & Duc look great ! I see we share a few things in common. Also Kevin @ UMW is your man.

Schwarz,

Nice GT2. I really like your Duc, though. I have had several. I have to say that the most fun you can have with your clothes on is dragging your knee around a circuit on a piece of Italian art!
