Hardware Question

Ok... so my turbos are off to Kevin's to be worked on and he sends me a hardware list for the re-assemble. I call Porsche and find out the the nuts that hold the turbos to the headers cost $5.18 each and the washers a slick $7.46 each. What are these things made of...? I'm not trying to cheap out but c'mon! I have an industrial hardware catalog (McMaster- Carr) with everything from case hardened, SS, military spec, etc...ect.. available. I've got to believe a can buy a box of 50 for less than what they want for 4 or 5. Does anybody know what is so special about these nuts and washers and what I should look for if I don't go OEM.
Thanks.

I thought they soaked the titianium carbon kevlar pieces in kryptonite fluid prior to heating to 2000 degree kelvin. Makes 'em harder.

I'm not sure McMaster-Carr carriers those.

If McMaster Carr doesn't carry the nut/bolts that you need, try Fastenal.
