I will start off with 2mm then frank, and keep adjusting from there.

My EVOMS wastegate kit the passenger side was broken when i forcefully was trying to adjust the screws on it because they were stuck somehow, and had to weld it until i recieved the AMS Kit.

Frank, if i start off with 2mm what will that be in boost pressure? 1.1Bar or 1.2bar? i know you can't measure that way but i just want to have an idea of what to expect with 2mm tension.

-Use one in pic as member rec. or homemade bicycle pump+fitting+Good pressure gauge.
-When you adjust wastegate, I believe you should adjust for 1.0 or 1.2 bar and use your tune or EBC to control it higher for 1.4 bar. (our TT use ecu to control boost or you could put in EBC to do the job) Consult your tuner.

1.It meaned hand tight til wastegate close and tight more 2mm.
2.Use handpump with gauge to apply pressure and keep add little by little until it cracks wastegate open. You note pressure at gauge when crack.
3.You want more pressure, tight spring more and repeat until you have target pressure.
4.tight lock nut.
5.repeat other side.
GL and have fun.

your second point is interesting: adjust to 1.2 Bar and let the ECU control the rest up to 1.4 Bar, My ECU is Actually tuned for 1.4Bar, it will be easier for me that way.

Yes, adjust your wastegate at 1.0 or 1.2 and let your tune control it to 1.4. Your ECU controlled solinoid will normal breed pressure away from wastegate and wastegate stays close to keep the boost. When pressure near 1.4, it will redirect pressure to control/modulate wastegate.

Use a pressure pump. They are very cheap. AND it is the only REAL way to ensure they are synchronized. I think mine cost $35. They are accurate and work well.

I set my Garrett 1 bar Actuators to 12psi and that gave me 1.3 - 1.4 bar with my Softronic Tune.

I agree this this 100%. These technically should only be set with a hand pump... 12.5 psi is a good starting point, you will most like finish up around 14 psi to achive 1.4 bar.

Anyone Got the Part Number or Link to this kit? I cannot find them on the AMS WEb Site. I would like to compate them to my EVOMS Kit.

Thanks

Thanks, they look just like my Garretts. Probably the same Actuators with the AMS offset blocks.

Hey frank, yes i got them setup, and they were very easy to setup, i didn't use any pressure device i set them up 3mm on each side and i'm getting 1.3 bar regularly with spikes of 1.4 Bar, i got them right on the second adjustment, very straight forward and easy to setup, great product and very well designed.

I guess synchronizing both sides to act the same is over-rated.
