2005 Turbo S cab
On Christmas day, while visiting my wife's aunt in a not-so nice section of Brooklyn, parked across the street i spy a black Turbo S sitting there in a driveway. I went over and had a brief conversation with the owner, a thick-accented Italian guy in his 50's who told me he waited 3-4 months on it and it was the 1st in NYC. Black cab with the hardtop on, red stiching on black, red belts and carbon fiber small. He said he was supposed to get CF sills but it came with just Turbo S b/c Porsche didn't have the CF yet even though he ordered it. Nice car but I'd still rather have my own. Did make me feel silly about not wanting to take the 545 there due to condition of the hood. He left after we talked and didn't come back so I don't even know if he lives there.
