Took the 996 to get it inspected and failed due to rear license plate lights out. The bumper was recently removed for some touch up body work and am wondering how hard it will be to plug the lights back in if the body shop forgot to plug them back in. There is no voltage at the light terminal and fuse is fine.

 

The shop may have left a connection from the main harness unplugged. If you can't see/access it from underneath the bumper may have to come off again. Bumper removal is not that difficult but I would definitely make the shop tackle it.

 

Yep, body shop forgot to plug 'em back in. Fixed it, now I'm good to go!
