Shot some Porsche pics today
I can't believe that nobody has commented on that red 1966 912 with a 3.5 slide valve injected, twin plug RSR motor, 935 oil tank up front, etc....I bet that ride is 350 plus HP and well under 2000 pounds. I'm sure it's sport'n some "R" wheels all around as well. Old school hot rod right there. Think it has straight pipes? Wowzer!!!

I did have a second look at that one
If only to look at how physically small the motor looked
Amazing car
If you are still interested in the car let me know. It's running super strong John, all it needs a new home and owner that will appreciate the beast. Price has been reduced.

I thought you sold her Art. I think my next project will be one of these old school super light weights (n/a) with 350-400 to the wheels. Maybe an early RSR build. The modern cars (yours in particular) have become so powerful that they must (should) be run on tracks, 1/4 or road, C16, etc. I may be wrong, but I think I can take a sub 2000 pound car with say 350 to the wheels and have a great time on the "road". The sound of those early RSR motors is insane. Of course, this would be a weekend use vehicle without ac, safety bs, etc. That's my current thinking anyway. I wish ANDIAL was still around...

Love his style.
