Was the PDK stock otherwise?

Flashed.....I put down close to 650 rwhp at 1.3 bars BTW.

I went for a ride in it and the launch control is amazing, the car loses absolutely no lower between shifts, stays in boost.

Where the PDK is REALLY going to shine is with a big set of turbos. Getting my GT 30's to stay constantly in boost would produce a freakishly fast car.

not running race gas 90% of the time is like having a super model wife and only kissing her. You paid for it (race gas tune) why not use it?

 

For a typical trip over to the Piggly Wiggly I don't need race gas to put the beat down on anything I run across, plus running lower boost/power most of the time extends my engine life.

 

I like to be ready to go go go at any time. Just think of the explaining you would have to do if someone (Paulie) caught you out going to Piggly Wiggly on pump...the thread would be...... long.

 

You are correct, that thread would be endless...

However Paulie has not driven his car to the PW or anywhere for that matter since the Bush Administration.

Nonetheless, I have been considering getting a meth kit installed for the ability to run higher boost on pump gas.
