Well this weekend was insane. We NEVER stopped going once. First off is a HUGE thanks to the Carver's for putting me up. Casa De Carver receives the highest rating possible. My best guesstimate is that Eric and I got about 11 hours of sleep the whole weekend if that.
Straight off the plane we met up with a few of the guys I've and met plenty more. The Minnesota bunch are a top notch group. Glad to see Marty K and his family. This man can make a Volvo do things I had previously believed were impossible. Sadly, I think Marty's daughter has better taste in music than her old man.
I challenge anyone on this board to find someone in Minnesota that Marty does not know. Sloss, it was great hanging out with you and Kim. Kim gives Sloss a harder time than any of us could dream of so we should probably take it easier on him around here. Geoff/Anthony/Jeff good to see you and meet your boys. Next time you owe be a ride in Whitey. Luis, it was great to meet you, Heidi, and your pops finally. Great driving this weekend too it was fun watching ......PDK is sick for sure. Four of us went out on the lake yesterday and got absolutely abused by the wind/rough water but it was a great time overall.
Great to see/meet Keith, Chris, Tim, Raj, AJ, Susan, Taylor, Charlie, Alex, Tyler, Allie, and Chris P. You guys all know how to make someone feel at home.
Eric thanks again for carting me around all weekend and putting me up. It was great. I'm really not sure what else we could have done.
I didn't get many pictures from this weekend but the two best would be these:
The "Slossfather" (this is about 10 a.m. yesterday morning, already handing out the days orders)
Mr. Minnesota and Sloss at C&C:

Glad I could return the hospitality you showed me when I was in Houston. We may not be the roll on capital but we have a pretty good car scene as evident by our cars and coffee turnout.
It was a great weekend - I think I need a nap.
You always have an open invite to come back and always a place to stay.

Speaking of the the twin doctors, Jitsu and Rob...where are they? Perhaps the witness protection program now that the "Slossfather" has put a contract out on them
