I did notice in your quick vid, that you only gave the car about 8 second to cool down before shutting the engine off. You had obviously given it some power, so was that just a one off? Or do you always shut down so soon?
It isn't good for the Turbo.......
Sounds great though.

Not a fan of the turbo script - but if it works for you - who cares what others think!

You're telling me. I just bought Kevin's Stage 2 Zero Clearance Turbos last week. Lord this is an expensive hobby.

I Photoshopped the car into different colors at various users requests. Hope this is helpful.

Joe

How long it takes to cool down the turbos ?? Do you do it standing the car or moving ??

You don't have to "cool down the turbos". You're just supposed to get the car back to normal operating temperature (off boost). All you have to do is drive the car casually around the block (off boost) and you'll be fine. Otherwise it's about a 2-5 minute wait in the parking lots.

I leave the car for a out a minute after a drive, even if I think they haven't been used. Just because you haven't been on boost doesn't mean they aren't hot. Turbos are spinning all the time even a idle.
This is one of these issues where all the desk top experts will chip in and to be honest I'm not getting into a Pi$$ing contest about how long you should leave your car to cool. I have had very high performance Turbo cars for the last 25 years and I always leave the car for a minute after a slow drive. As long as 5 minutes after a special stage rally as they are really hot.
You can buy Turbo oilers that discharge oil through you turbo once the engine has shut down and also Turbo timers that let the engine run for a timed amount once you leave the car. To be honest just wait a minute every time and all will be well.
Your choice.....Your Car..... Your Cash.
Play safe and use the minute tocheck the oil level or something, or just sit there with your arm on the window edge playing AC/DC or Pink Floyd and just enjoy the moment..
Frank.

The Lime Green theme looks great. I think without the "Turbo" script it would look even better and cleaner. The wheels look damn good. A 997 GT3 set of wheels in that color would make it amazing.

Very interesting, I like the contrast, also thought about that color trim for some future events. The wheels really stick out, I think adding some more green to the rear, maybe wrapping it around a little so you can see it from the back might even it out some.

Have to agree with the script, 'it's a little much. I would have done graphite to dark silver but to each their own.

Btw, what exhaust is that?

I love the green, but I think with a color like that which draws so much attention, you need a much more aggressive tail, maybe a GT2 decklid and wing or a 997TT Techart wing?
