Windshield replacement for 996tt, where?
I want to replace my windshield due to 1 small chip. Is any glass shop's replacement good enough? Or something a dealer needs to put in? (Closest P dealer is 3 hours away)

I'd want an OE glass.
(**Not***OEM- often you can get OEM glass which is glass made by the company that makes the OE glass but without the logos...)
The Porsche dealer likely has a local glass shop do the install anyway, so there is nothing about the job that makes it impossible for a local place to do it. You'll need to assess you local shops to see who is qualified.
