I looked over the DCT site and the prices seemed high in my view, $1150 to re-cover is quite high, I also considered the risk of the work not being on your own steering wheel but perhaps one from a wreckers, I wouldn't like that at all.
For $900 I decided on a GT3 one from Suncoast, I bought two actually, one in smooth leather, already installed and quite nice I must say and one on its way in Alcantara, brand spanking new
Now I have two extra steering wheels that I want to have re-covered, I would love one in perforated leather/alcantara but not at the $1150 rate and one perforated leather/carbon, perhaps these price will adjust with time, at the moment I don't see the need to re-cover if the new ones are cheaper despite this being a custom job which turns important because its unique to your own specs but unfortunately price to product ratio is not good in my view, at least at the moment.

Hard to be patient especially with prime North East drive season !!!!
Hoping to show it off at the Watkins Glen Rolex Grand Am 6/5... The CNY Porsche Club has a Porsche "Corral" where we can all park together in the infield. Really good people. I do take the Glen for granted sometimes as it's only about 40 minutes from home...
