Ian and Peter would have won with that same car last year. So let's not make it out to be all Leh. The utter domination and blowouts are due to Leh.

But it will be fun to hear the excuses from nagtroc until next year.

dez, they're already talking about how the VSPEC GTR is the car that should be up against the GT2... not the standard GTR.

You're right, it doesn't prove anything because the GT2 still won most of the road course events last year too. And was without a doubt out modded.

On a serious note, isn't Danny Popp driving teh Vette? Not the same league?

Yes danny Popp is driving the Z06.. Not sure of the caliber of car he is driving or if Leh is that much better.. Ill go with Leh is better though.. The z06 should outpower this Gt2 probably.. Not to mention he won 2 of the session with no rear sway bar..

Also keep in mind the Times you see are 3 lap times.. so if up by 9 seconds its 3seconds a lap..

I agree, Martin. It seems that some people are implying that Leh's driving ability is the only reason they are in the lead. I guess they're forgetting how fast a properly setup GT2 can be.

It's the combination that's winning. Not one or the other.
