checking/topping pentosin reserve
To reply about the TSB...Here it is.
Landjet. I am surprised about your statement mentioning that you have to replace both. I was told, in the past, that the 997 updated reservoir fit the 996 steering pumps. So I looked at AutoAtlanta website and if you look at item 11 you will see the parts seems to be compatible... But the reservoir is about $700.00 ! And sorry I never did the job....

there was a inter company bulletin out on it... the seals go bad in them...

Well maybe I got taken for a ride then. All I know is it fixed the problem. I did have a choice to either buy a re-manufactured 996 part or buy the re-designed 997 parts. I chose the latter.
I will do some more search about this subject... Thanks for the info!
