Soon their post will be something like...
This 1 time in my Prius I was at a stop light and there was a Porsche and I was like, jerk you think your so fast. And he was like ( well he wasn't paying attention to me but I knew what the jerk was thinking, laughing at my green car and my Echo ideals ). So like I watched the lights going the other direction and I timed the red to green and when it turn green my foot was on the floor. And my head, my head was like back against the seat and I was holding on to the wheel for dear life and I looked at the Porsche jerk and he hasn't even moved. So I was like reaching the other side of the intersection and I beat him. I smoked him to the other side of the intersection and then I realized I was not being very green and so like I let off of it and the Porsche knew he couldn't hang and turned into the Starbucks.
These cars are so fast and so green. Al Gore was right, we can have the best of both worlds.

This 1 time at band camp....I had a prius....and it was so funny.

Get real, a prius is enviromentally friendly and it isnt economical, it does make alot of folks think they are doing their bit for the enviroment, so I guess it is a good thing./..NOT

Your better of buying a true econobox that is gas only and drive it with care if you want to save money, the car will be less and you wont have to replace those batteries at a cost of 3 or 4k.

here are some memorable quotes:

crotch rocket(i think it was a kawasaki.. but my recolection on what kind of jap sport bike it was is not so good ) vs prius
prius kept up with the bike through the first gear (did this one over in freemont CA heading twords the dumbarton bridge)

Mustang GT 5.0 VS. prius
(a personal note on this one, it was an up hill and around a curve race) Victory for the prius
(location Canada College Farm hill blvd entrence heading up to the college)
I know i races and NSX.. er.. the lower end acura on the highway.. i kept up with it.. it looked a little shakey.. i passed it in the end. hehe

I raced the 400h against a viper on a roll start.. he couldn't catch up. lol
let me go grab my boots...****s getting deep up in here.
You guys realize you are being laughed at on several other car forums right? In terms of performance your car sucks
i think a 2 year old in a Viper running on 5 cylinders could beat a Prius
Thanks for this thread guys, alot of other boards have had a fun time laughing at you. You make the kids who believe F&F is realistic look smart.
IT DOESNT MATTER!!!! 11.3 TO 60 IS NOT BETTER THAN 11.6, AFTER THAT LONG OF A TIME .3 SECONDS DOESNT MATTER ANYMORE!! ITS LIKE A BILLIONARE WORRYING ABOUT GETTING THE WRONG CHANGE, WORRYING ABOUT A CAR HAVING MORE POWERTHEN THE OTHER WHEN THEY BOTH FAIL TO HAVE EVEN 150 HP IS STUPID, I JUST CHANGE MY HEADS AND I'VE PICKED UP MORE POWER THEN YOUR ENTIRE CAR MAKES, NO MATTER HOW MANY BATTERIES IT HAS

I don't think they are breaking the speed limits if they're racing in a Prius.
I love this guys spelling, Moast, Poast, Toast?
Ok, Comparitively american cars handle like ****. American cars have been and always will be primarily straightline cars, with the "handling cars" being the european.
also, a prius will do wel against a 80's mustang 5.0 uphil and on a turn, 5.0 mustangs like moast american cars are fast as hell in a straight line, but they can not turn.
and as for the motorcycle, yes i realise that they are much faster then the prius i was meerly stating that the torque of the prius of the line was impressive enough that I was able to keep up with the bike till he shifted at which point his power band kicked in.
and to the person who wants to race me, i supose i am up for it.
Lastly, I am pleased of all the people who poasted on here, it actualy has surprised me quite alot at the number of poasts. and the fact is that moast of us are just curious as to how our car matches up in the automotive world.
anyway, I thought this would be a good weekend laugh for all.

But they aren't even enviromentally friendly.
So much pollution is created in the making of their batteries that no matter how fuel efficient the car is, it will be very difficult to make up that difference.
Google Toyota Prius environmental impact.
A scion xB is about 7 times easier on the environment than a prius.

It shouldn't even matter what they say. You can get plenty of cars that are 10k less and get near or over 40mpg. A prius could NEVER make up the $ difference. Hybrids are bunch of marketing crap.

Its not a bad commuter car. Its like driving a golf kart. Great for LA traffic where you cannot do anything in your Porsche anyways.

But the Porsche is more fun to sit in it being still than a Prius will EVER be.

Hell, I just love sitting in my car at a stop light. I can pass that Prius in front of me whenever the hell I feel like it (regardless of what that Prius driver thinks he can do).

I'll take the electronic gadgets in my GT-R anyday over the crap in the Prius. That, alone, is worth the extra $14 in fuel I'll use in my GT-R than a Prius in a given week.

Holy sh** you're not kidding, they're dead serious!

But really, I dream of butchering a Prius, using its body, rwd converting it and fitting the car with Supra engine. Has to be THE coolest sleaper ever.

funny thing is that the proof has been out that these cars are not environmentally friendly and people still think they are. Get a small car with a reg gas engine and you will be fine.
