I just went with Kevin at UMW..he has a custom Sach's unit, and a LWFW (964RS based I think) from him...all in a kit, all parts worked, no issues. Shipped overnight after a 5pm EST call for help. He knows a LOT about this issue...probably worth a call to him or one of the guru sponsors.

Your set up is likely making quite a bit of torque....

Billions of lines about LWFW's...(light weight flywheel). Also went with the EVOMS gt2 upgrade kit after a few accumulators....made the soft clutch feel like a gt3/gt2....hard to press, but way, way, way more feedback. I got my kit from a place in Kansas that is no longer in business...go to evoms directly. I posted the installation instructions on this site as well with photos. Search.

Anyway, many sponsors here will sell you a clutch. Each has a good solution. Mine feels oem. It is easy to engage, etc. I am a happy man...If you are in there, might as well do the slave too...or switch to the gt2 set-up.

To save some money, you can have the mechanic drop the tranny rather than the engine in the install...fyi.

Good luck..

JB

Agreed...I have that setup and its not bad...initial break in is a little rough, but it hold the power well and not far off stock feel.
