Nice work Chris. 140 mph traps with 24/18's incredible. Have any 28's turbos come even close to that?

 

Don't forget I trapped 146.65 2 months ago. Thats 3mph less then the fastest watercooled car.

 

That is just crazy talk. With those trap speeds ,hell with 28's, the 30's or 35's owners better watch out.

What's the difference using ethanol instead methanol+water ??

 

E85 is a blend of petrol and ethanol, and with proper set up one can use it as a fuel. It has a high octane number due to the ethanol.

Methanol+water is used as an anti-detonant and cooling agent mostly (from what I've understood at least..). It is not used as a proper fuel.

Also, ethanol and methanol are similar but not exactly the same thing.

Yes, pump gas, petrol, gasoline they all indicate the same thing (english is not my language but I think this is right. I heard British people calling it petrol, American people calling it gas)

Chris has been beating on that car, with tune, for a long time now, so it seems to be holding just fine I am sure the car has dozens of passes down the strip with that tune.
