Slalom tests and skidpad tests only tell you so much about handling.
Since Paul S goes to the track with our group from time to time, I'll let him report back when he gets a chance to run against the 911's.

Evo MR will put the hurt on a GT3/GT2 on a tight track. And probably trail it by a lil' bit in a long course like the Nurburgring due to its inability to keep up in the straights.
Auto-x... bye bye $100K+ krauts.
And it's not just quantative data coming through. Automotive experts who have motorsports experience rave about the car's capabilities. Stock.

Your telling me a bone stock EVO MR is faster than a GT3 and runs sub 1:30 at Big Willow?
This I have to see, considering that a GT2 runs about 1:30 flat with a very very good driver on stock tires.

You could be talking about my friend Sean (also has and raced Porsches in the past) with the Red EVO right?

I have no idea what the stock car runs there. FYI, the MR package we get here is kind of a ripoff. The fastest EVO here is the RS.

Adams EVO is a little bit different cause its stripped and weighs only 2400LBS., race gas & slicks.
My cost is only $13K cause Im not paying much for labor..... its 3K for the engine build out, $2600 for the tranny with shorter ratios along with a dual mass clutch, $3500K for the Gt35r garret turbo package, $700 for the intercooler, a few hundred for the exhaust, $600 for the headers(custom made), $100 for the fuel pump, a little bit more for the injectors, and finally $1800 for the Autronic stand alone.... with a little bit of Adams genious wizardy... its 600HP to the wheels. Ive seens it ...and I raced in my TT( stage 4) against Adams cars more then once.

For those who want to see an EVO 8 with $10K in it... no internals except cams... every day driver on low boost(19PSI) can do at the track( street radials ). its got 530HP to the wheels... and runs 10.80s constant. God knows what it would do with a good suspension.

I had an Evo 8 with a few mods which sold it and got a TT. The Evo has got to be the best cornering car I have ever owned. Took off hard but top end was weak but I have been in Evo's with turbo work and the top end becomes awesome.
$2000 in mods runs 12.00 at the 1/4
