Just Installed Softronic ECU Tune DONE!

Hi,

Acute Performance recently (2 days ago) became an authorized dealer for Softronic. Great product and very easy to install. We send you data cable, you plug into your ODBII port, download your current ECU map, send to Softronic electronically, they send you updated maps, you load back into your car and DONE!

Anyways, I just finished loading it into my 996 TT and happy times! 0.6 bar to ~1.0 bar and boy does it haul now!

Now where is my exhaust? Stupid mod bug...

Michael

Agreed, there are a lot of turbo owner's that would love to show off there sound, ask around, go to car shows, PCA events, etc., you will know when you hear the one you like. Remember the modifications on the car slightly change the sound as well so try to make similar comparisons that are close to your car.
I really wanted to push the mods heavy ( half way there) and have an exhaust that would allow the flow, my local mechanic recommended the B & B GT race exhaust, bought listening the video clips, no video in my opinion plays the true sound. I really liked BBI, Marski's, Speedtech and Europipe which was the only one I could hear locally so thats what I went with (EP), love the sound but still looking for the other three to hear in person, I'd like to say "time for change" but last time I heard that

I am surprised that you got the ECU tuning done before the exhaust replacement. After you replace the exhaust do you have to remap again due to less exhaust restriction ???? Do you have to start all over again??? May be I got it wrong here....

When you send in your OEM map it asks for the mods. I went ahead and said I was getting an exhaust so no need for me to retune.
