Stupid slicks I tell you. We couldn't figure out what was going on with Al's car, first they looked like they were cut because the inside of the tire blew. The outside then looked bad because his fenders weren't rolled enough. But he had huge turbo piping etc. so I figured I would be safe. Got a hole in a tire on basically my second day.

That is for the birds. I refuse to go through tires like that. It's dangerous. I'm going to practice on Yokos and run TT on A6's. At least I know the tires will stay together. I'm glad you told me that, I will stay far away from the hoosiers.
