Finally ready for a GT2
'02 with $21k miles for $75k:

'03 with 8500 miles for 95k (I prefer this one):

As long as you have a good Carfax or Autocheck, I wouldn't worry about location either. Shipping is cheap.

Use the gt2 money as a down payment that will appreciate (real estate) instead of a car.
I hate to play financial planner, but I'd saying you are doing it all bass ackwards. If by, "at home" you mean your parents house- get out the freaking house before you dump all your money on a car.

Actually NOLA911, i don't wanna be a d#ck but too many of my friends are moving out right now just so they can say ohh i have my own place either renting or buying. If your young and want to get financially ahead living at home is the best way for awhile, it makes no sense for me to move out... that's what Suze Orman says haha. But i do agree with your comment cars depreciate rather than real estate appreciating.
Ha ha...I guess I won't tell you how much I paid for mine.

Isn't that the point? It's beaten up pretty bad right now with lots of chances to buy for a young buyer with cash. Figuring that you can pick up a foreclosure property at 50% of it's value 3 years ago, conventional knowledge indicates it will appreciate.
I love my cars. I really do. But given the choice between buying distressed property while moving out of my parents house or buying a sweet ride.......
What does that even mean? You don't want a house because your friends are buying houses?? I understand that if money is tight and life is hard on you, it makes financial sense to share a home with your parents, but you are talking about buying a supercar, which leads me to believe you are graduating with a lucrative stable degree and already have a job....
Like I said, doesn't matter to me, I welcome you to the Porsche family. They are truly awesome cars and you will love every minute of the ride

Thanks Nolla911, I said the friend situation because they all think that's our first move outa school but not only do you buy a house you have property tax, house insurance, and utilities. All those added up make it hard to save.... Sorry I didn't want to get into financial stuff, just talk Porsches!!
Divexxtreme,

A 997TT is not a GT2. Never will be.
Rossignol, that car is pristine, and worth every penny of $90k (assuming the Carfax checks out). Hell, it even books (KBB) $15k higher than a '07 Turbo with the same miles.
If you want a 6GT2, you won't find a cleaner specimen than that one.
