Did anybody ever buy an extended warranty with this or any other company?

Any opinions on the subject? I was thinking about doing it.

 

I looked at this company, but I don't think they do a warranty on the turbo (at least in my location). I also looked at Warranty Center (as they will do the turbo), but don't have any info on them. If you get any info, I'd be interested to know. Thanks.

 

i wouldn't trust any aftermarket warranty co. They are scumbacks and will only pay upon threats of lawsuit which no body has time for. Typical excuse is any little modification made to the car void warranty. If your engine loses compression, they blame on the strut bar for example.

If you must get the warranty, talk to your dealer to see if they can certify your w/ factory warranty for $2k. Some dealers are open to do this.

 

Did a qiuck research and this what I found. T/Turbos are not covered.

I asked at a local dealer the other day...I was looking to extend the factory warranty, but they replied with an aftermarket plan. Not sure who the underwriter is but here are the terms they offered:

There are four different levels of coverage, all prices listed are with a disappearing $50.00 deductible and is non taxable and would provide an additional 3 years of coverage or 75000 miles total which ever comes first.

Silver coverage covers the basic components of the vehicle, engine transmission etc at $4180.00

Gold coverage covers all the basis and extends to electrical, a/c, brakes etc at $4391.00

Platinum coverage covers all (most comparable to factory) at $4635.00
