Gulf 800 brake fluid?

Anyone heard of that brake oil, everyone around my town changed the motul for Gulf and i am unable to get motul 600 (other than on the internet). The guys says the boiling point of the Gulf is 580 deg f which is pretty good (don't have the wet boiling point though).

Anyone heard about it?

I hope no one hates this answer, but unless you don't mind changing fluid very frequently, I'd just go with Castrol SRF and be done for the season. Bleed checks, etc.....but the cost is saved in avoided time (yours or a mechanics).

Anyway, I have never had a brake issue and I have only done DE's with SRF. Just me.

It is about 70$ online (USA$). My shop has it in stock at all times....lots of track guys.

not available in canada though

75$ is freaking expensive for a liter of oil. You do what, change them once a year with let say 3-4 DE?

It is wet BP you care about....if humid, etc., on other fluids after a few weeks you might be down to the wet number.....To me, it is well worth it.

My time is way more valuable...then the mechanics time...then the 3-4 flushes of 15$ stuff....quickly 75 seems ok. Just my logic. I only want the best for my brake fluid....I am biased.
