Replacement for the Greddy Profec Spec B 2
Its not the greddy.... its either your wgs or even a tune.. not to mention boost leaks..
if the greddy goes bad then its bad... mind you you have a solenoid as well...
I just dont see how an electronic unit sometimes gives a problem on high boost... did you take the boost limit out of the way.... maybe its pulling back because your ceiling is being met..

I heard great things but it also is somewhere around $800... most guys are not going to pay that...

Seems like my controller limit was set pretty high so doubt thats the problem to mine. Ive been chatting with the Tial tech support guys and they pretty much say its the boost controller as the suspect of my problem...
I used the SBC i-Color as well. It is a great controller with tons of useful features.
One of the more useful was a speedmap, you can set boost based on speed,
i.e.
0-20mph 10psi (lower boost for traction)
20-40mph 13psi
40-230mph 27psi
It also has chassis dyno that was pretty accurate if you had exact weight and no wheel spin.
It is also a dual solenoid controller, so it is very accurate.

here are some pics of mine in my supra.

I finally made the switch over to the HKS. Night and day difference. The boost control is flawless. Can't wait to tinker with it further. I can't say enough how superior this unit is to the Greddy.
which model did you get ? and what was approx price ?
HKS is $200 bucks more if you want a non ebay one.... thus at $600 most clients run a way from it... Greddy on Ebay is $300 and does the job... But yes I agree its not as precise as the HKS...
