Seems like I recall the billets with injectors and race gas got you to around 600whp. That should get low 11s even a little better maybe.

Not going to be that easy... be it a a turbo A or turbo B...
there are too many variable that need to be under control... one is clutch... two is intercoolers and piping, three is injectors, four is a exhaust that will NOt pass emission in Cali, five a custom tune with NO 91 octane unless you want to blow up your car at 1.6 bar... so RACE gas only....
Then we go to:
weight reduction, tires tires tires, RWD conversion, and finally a kick ass driver...

Good luck can't wait to hear your results...

there are more factors than just hp that equates to a low ET. I used to be an ET junkie but now focus more on trap speed and 60-130 times as its more of indicator of how much HP you are making.

i guess i'm looking to make 130-135 mph pass. i ran an 11.42 with my stage 3 s4 at 126mph so i'm basing it of of that. that was with a 1.6 sixty foot. that car only made 426 hp to the wheels on c16. i guess i just want to know if i should go big turbos to achieve that 10.90 goal. i already have an EP exhaust and will upgrade the clutch and intercoolers as soon as i decide which turbo kit to go with:confused:

To trap in mid 130's you are going to need GT 28's or bigger, full fuel system, IC's etc.

Clutch and tires are going to be huge factors in getting a good time. The power levels should be good for very low 11s, eveyrthing else is going to depend on whether you can get it down the track that fast.

Honestly... its not really that different. The cars are very surprisingly similar.

Bit of advice to the OP. keep your expectations low. Despite the fact that these cars would SEEM to be quite the ET monster, they are a bear to drive at the dragstrip. And the AWD is the crappiest AWD ever installed on a car. You'll have much better luck RWD. Clutch is a HUGE factor in how it holds and actuates...

Weight reduction and tires are your best option at this point. And yes a good driver. No more power needed.......

John@SpeedTech Jun 16, 2010 09:36 AM

Here is an example of what you desire...My car runs consistent low 11's (11.1-11.3) with a best of 11.0 and traps 131-133mph with K24/18G turbos, SpeedTech exhaust, 75mm throttle body/plenum, SpeedTech full 75mm Y-Pipe kit, 60 Lb. injectors, dual fuel pumps, EVO turbo inlet pipes, B6 IC's, AWD, street tires, full weight at 1.2 bar. I now have a 1.32 bar program and the car actually feels quite a bit faster, but I have not taken it to the track yet with this most recent tune.

Kai@ELITEMS Jun 16, 2010 10:14 AM

You can achieve your goal with K24/18Gs w/ injectors and a clutch setup. Can even be possible with the billet K16's.
