I think your just confused... thats like me saying " why tune up a a shifter kart" when you have P car... and Im sure your have one supped up with 125hp or something like that... trust me when I say that once you drive a P car with twice the HP you will appreciate the thrill.. more then in a kart... and thats because anyone can get that thrill @ $40 for 3 laps and go home( even my wife)... yet a few select brave owners can/will upgrade the P cars to 800+hp... and that simply is special... you cant get that in a shifter kart.

Oh but you can Mark. We are working on a Turbo GSX-R 1000 motored shifter cart!!!

Ok I kid but that would be sick!!

I don't know why this guy makes it sound bad that we modify our 996/997 this way. Our kit is similar to Marks but it also takes a lot of wiring too, so I guess mine is even more worse off!!

I'm not intending to make it sound bad, and I've had 900hp NOS'd Vipers and some other ridiculously tuned rides in the garage. I just don't see the need with my Porsche. My karts aren't anything different from other 125cc shifter, that's just where I get my cheap thrills. You can flame away, but there's still something to be said for not having to rebuild a 150k ride for ****s and giggles and replace $1600 in rubber to prove something that few care about. I have my ride cause I like it, as is. I'm not trying to rag on anyone for for tuning theirs. Its just that having blown up a couple cars before and done some extreemly costly repairs out of ego, I dont feel the need to do it again.

BTW, there are GXXR Karts out there.
