2005 Turbo S Production Dates needed
Sorry wished i'd known. I jus sold mine- triple black S cab with only 16k on the dial for 70k. One of the few cars i bought used and sold for more than i payed for it 3 years later.
yeh, the S' seem special and he's a big guy and fit in my GT2 (unlike my lambo), so he is pretty convinced he has to go Porsche...and want's to make sure it's faster than his brothers ford gt500 :-) I told him a tts or gt2 was the only way to go then and I think he is a little intimidated of the widowmaker (most are it seems).
if anyone else sees one around, he's not in a huge hurry or nothing. TIA
Yes RIP, robertp. I'd like to continue where robert left off.
Given the relatively small number of 996 Turbo S's that were produced for MY2005 (598 coupes and 1200-something for Cabrios if I'm not mistaken..), I think it's feasible and worth it to build a registry and a community of owners. I have already identified about 40 Turbo S Coupes (out of the 598) from various web sources, but with your help, we can hopefully identify most of them out there! (I've also spotted some FAKES!).
So, I've created a Yahoo! Group called Porsche 996 Turbo S Owners (for coupes AND cabrios) with the hopes that past and current owners will join and share and get information on their cars! I'll build a database and maybe eventually a proper registry website.
