a couple cars.. The only one a seen was e36m turboed.. I think its pretty sick car but he had wastegate issues or something at that dyno day.

 

You know how they say people in glass houses can't throw stones? Well people in 9 second cars can't make fun of a whole group of cars some of which run 6's in street trim!

Me personally I can't wait to build my 353i or 357i Turbo. That should get me some personal threats to my PM inbox! I should be able to make 500 whp on even a mild build very easily, now just a matter of figuring out how to get more tire underneath!

That 5 series is sooo sick....can I have more details? I dream of a turbo S38 E34 M5!

Does anyone know what fuel everyone was running? Pump gas, race, meth, etc...

 

No doubt that the HPF cars move out, I can't wait to the twin turbo kits come out for the E90's.

Umm I have no idea about the fueling in the video, i will try to find out.

Im also looking for a video I saw between a HPF Stg2 and a 997TT Proto 700.

 

No really, that was an honest mistake.

I think the GT700's make around 580 whp on race fuel, so I'm curious what the Stage 2 was making.

 

Man the heated arguments we get into over air pumps and the different designs.....LOL....

 

And here is a video between a HPF M3 making 607whp and a Proto700 997TT. That Porsche is quick!

First race Porsche wins (Porsche seems like it got the jump), second race the M3 wins. And this M3 is the one that has a known SMG problem which has a big shift delay that causes it to lag everytime he shifts.

So we are seeing very different outcomes here, the M3's are not as slow as alot of the guys make it seem to be here.

 

I never said they were slow, I just said they can be harder to launch and they are more driver dependent than some of the other cars. High rpm manual turbo cars are always driver dependent! Plus the fact is a lot of people talk the power shift game but walk the granny shift walk.

 

Actually I think these races are more indicative of what I expected from the Stage 2 M3's. Both P-cars are running very similar setups, probably making 580 whp (and trapping 133 to 135) so that seems about right.

It's good to a better showing from the Turbo M3's.

I've seen that vid before, it was incredible how the beemer(lol) pulled on the turbo.

Story about the term Beemer. My buds and I after a morning of surfing Would sit on the boardwalk and call out all the girls that were very, very COLD. Our code was "Nice Beemer" as the girls never even knew what we were talking about. It became a popular word around Huntington and Newport Beach. Yeah we were young and stupid.
