That black supra in one of my videos beat me before, when he was on DRs and I was on street tires. He launches so good ..... I needed a good launch to not fall behind at the start, I didn't have enough power to play too much catchup with him. His car was auto and on DRs so it was also very consistent on the street.

Ford GT with Pulley&Tune beat me from a roll (another mistake on my part lol). He wouldn't go from a stop since he knew he was going to lose, I just wanted to run a "cool" car.

I also lost to a mid 10 sec 1st gen AWD DSM at that same light, when my E55 was still stock.
suppppp yooooo

my brother has an 05 E55. both of us are stock, his seems to pull just a little bit more violently. pretty good match overall but they both have their own strong suits. E55 is a hell of a car.

you are auto as well so it would be interesting to see a drag race at the track or the street. i never drove or raced someone with an auto Turbo. it is obvious that your car will trap higher then his. i would say 127ish for you and 123-124 tops for the E55.

E55 is a heavy car. without driver my car weighed in at 4150 lbs at Englishtown Raceway.

you won't get crushed, but if you dont drag race much.....chances are he may win the drag race.

I remember when my friend with his E55 Kleeman K3 (plus some Evosport goodies) ran against a 996 Turbo X50 with just exhaust and ECU flash and the Porsche would walk him everytime on highway rolls. But E55's have come a long way since then. I think a heavily modded E55 could walk a stock turbo 996TT. Once the turbos are modded/swapped on the Porsche though it's game over.

Ben if you go just drop a couple psi out of your rear tires, brake boost a bit and make 3 or 4 runs. You'll get the hang of it and I bet you'll be surprised how well you'll do.

I actually might be able to go. I've got an EARLY tee time on Saturday a.m. Are you going to Baytown or Sealy?

Is it worth me swapping my wheels for the turbo twists for the weekend?

They would probably be a little lighter than your 360's. What tires do you have on the Twists?

Be careful guys....you were blowing by traffic that was in the middle of the two of you.

It would be very easy for someone to move over into the right lane when they saw the Benz coming up hard in the fast lane.

I only go if the two far left lanes are completely clear.
