That sounds like me. I live off off Dixie Farm and Westfield (just West of 518) so I either take Dixie Farm or Pearland Parkway to work depending on which office I go to. Usually take Pearland Parkway to Beltway to go into town too so on it quite a bit. My daily driver has been in the shop for about a month so been driving this one more than normal.

Had the car a few years but found this site and now things are magically showing up on it. Found some wheels, exhaust, SSK and now a flash. Tried to get the flash done last night but ran into some glitches.
Should get it finished tonight.

Next thing I wanted are some seats and 5 point. Who do you think would be best for that? I think I can put in the seats but don't know about the harness.

Would be happy to meet up sometime.

 

I grew up in Pearland (Green Tee), then moved to Friendswood (Fieldcreek Forrest) my Sr year (which was the best move ever! So many more girls!). I graduated in 02, so I'm still the youngin around here. My cousins both went to Friendswood but they are '84 and '87.

 

Did you have a highly modded Cobra before this?

 

Well I have the GT3 Replica seats that Ray sells on here if you ever want to check them out. My car is usually a mess inside because we are always constantly trying to add and change stuff. I don't have harnesses though.

 

I may have possibly! Well that was back in 01-03. It was a black convertible 98 Cobra with a SHM Motor, Vortech, etc...

Then I had a Vette for a little bit, then followed by my race car LS1. My brother runs around RARELY in his 427 LS2 Hardtop Vette but mainly is in his SRT8 on 22's LOL!

 

Too funny. You bought that Cobra from my brother. Small world. When you told me your story it sounded too familiar. Would be happy to meet sometime and check your set-up out. I was actually in your subdivsion last night at a buddies house trying to get this flash to work. Will be there again tonight too.

 

Give me a shout and I'll swing by (I'll PM you in a second). I have used the Softronic flash software before I switched over to EPL (which if you ever do, I do a lot of the flashing for them ). I haven't seen Tom in years. Last time I saw him was when we were at some car meet and my brother wasn't old enough to drive just yet and I was in the Vette he was getting and Tom was in his. I think we got him by a car or so. The beauty of a 200lb weight advantage, considering both cars were stock at the time!

I've built quite a few quick cars in the past, and this one feels quicker right out of the stock box. I'm loving it!

Of course that is just the starting point but sure is nice to know the impressive potential these cars have.

 

$10K plus clutch and install and I will get you to 600+whp in no time...
