Down to 2 wheel choices please vote on my final 2 choices--pics inside--
I just barely came around to liking black wheels on black cars, you guys are asking too much for me to like that much black on black ala Cargraphic Black wheels. Too much black. If I go with black wheels, its gonna be the 547R as they are cleaner and don't have so much of a large black surface. If I do not go with black wheels it will be the Cargraphic silver with polished lip, so of the two what do you guys think. Also keep in mind I am probably going to have both the inner and outer barrel polished if I go with the black 542R so it won't be so black as to ruin the contrast.

I don't know, but, I think the below is WAY too much black
Cargraphic Racing 19's Black with Polished lip on Black Turbo
Again, of the two choices given above(and the third choice which is SEE CHOICES 1 AND 2)
which one would you choose......HRE 547R Black with polished inner and outer barrel, or Cargraphic Silver center with polished lip?
Thanks
Lou

Lou,
I hated black wheels until I got them. I still can't do the all black without the lips polished. That's why I like the 5 series HRE's the bolts, lugs. center caps and lips are the contrast. I will try to get a picture of my friends Black Cab with the HRE 540R's in black..
In person the contrast is fine due to the lips and hardware and the car looks bad ***... You don't have to worry about the mesh center showing dirt as much as they are black. You will spend a ton of time keeping silver mesh wheels clean.
But all that said. You have to like what you choose....

The HRE 5's are nice but why not step up a notch to go with the 8's? If I was to get HRE, the 8's would be the top choice. Difference style, lighter...I just think 547's are just a bit too "played out".
As for the vote, I will pick 547's out of the two choices that you gave.

Yup..way too much as I agree with you. Plus yours will be a soft top (i assume it's a black top), which will give the car too many tones of black. The fore-mentioned, IMO, applies to Black CG for your new ride.

Great point I never thought of, those Cargraphics will be a ***** to keep clean won't they
Lou
I voted for Cargraphics because I like the way that they look on a black car. Lou, remember that your turbo S has PCCB version 2 so I don't think that brake dust would be an issue. Otherwise, I don't think that you could go wrong either way.

What's with the mental exercises?...Just get 'em both! You can change 'em out in your garage in 20min whenever you want, and if you decide you like one set over the other for more street use, put track tires on the other! Hey, you only live once and you can't take it with you!
But...if you can get only one, the 547s look very nice.
