997 GT3 before 997 Turbo

I just came home to my March 2005 issue of AUTOMOBILE and in there is a short article on the 997 Turbo and it states under MEGA 911s:

" The Turbo follows both the Carrera 4S and the 400-hp GT3, which again will be a lightweight, nonturbo track star."

Just wanted to pass this on.

997 GT3's for Euros. Don't see a viable market here in the USA after the 996 GT3...

I don't know about the US, but the ROW GT3 should be out later this year.

what where the differenes between the gt2 and gt3 just turbo vs non turbo ?

Doesnt matter what you see, it matters what Porsche sees, all they need is to cut U.S. allocation down a bit and everyone is happy.

Main differences are one car is Turbo one is non turbo, one car is a wide body and one is a narrow body and the main difference between the two is $80k.
