I assume most people will recommend a typical "Stage 2" performance upgrade. If so, who's is the best, which is to say provides best WHP improvement, is reliable, does not need race gas, and does not trigger the CE light?

TIA
For real.. if you're based in LA go see Arling at Lucent... He's got all the good toys but for my money there's nothing like an extra 100hp!

ImagineAuto Stage2 Hammer rocks. You will need an exhaust with 100 cell cats for full effect!

I did what Trojanman had said, upsolute $500, RUF 100 cell cat exhaust $2000 (used), and no CEL for last 3000 miles and very happy with it.

Me too. $500 Upsolute, $1800 B&B, $90 K&N and $300 Baileys.
Runs like a red assed ape with no CELs ever.

What about resonance on these aftermarket exhausts? Not interested in an exhaust that has any kind of noticable resonance.

Does the Upsolute have the Chipswitch feature where you can switch between programs? Does it have a minimum octance required? I like the idea of the chipswitch feature for dealer servicing and for states with low octane fuel.
