That is beautiful, the rear bumper side vent, did VCE custom cut out the fin base on origional turbo bumper or is it a origional gemballa's piece?

The rear bumper was from Gemballa. VCE can do some pretty amazing work on the widebody though.

Thanks. Yeah the Gemballa wheel is also very nice, but Arling gave me on offer on the Techart steering wheel that I couldn't resist!

swordsman,

Very nice indeed. I still remember your old TA setup and this one just simply looks amazing! Just curious where'd you get your HRE centers painted black? How much and how long did that take?

Thanks. The 993 hood was custom made by VCE at fraction of the cost charged by Gemballa. Call Raj at VCE for details (310-202-1555).

Thanks for the compliment, sometimes I still think about my old TA setup...very aggressive & menacing.

The center caps were not painted, they're authentic HRE metal caps in dark color, Arling at Lucent hooked me up with these...give him a call!

Oops I think I misunderstood your question...sorry. If you're asking about the centers not the caps then they were also done by VCE, very reasonable priced and only took couple days.

Swordsman,
First off, the car looks amazing!!!
Congratulations!
Who did the widebody? Can you provide additional detail, either written or photographic that describes the work, what was involved, who did it, how long it took, etc., etc.??

Hey Ken,
Thanks for the compliment. The widebody was done by VCE (310-202-1555/ask for Raj). Basically he fabricated new quarter panels on the front and rear (widened by 1.5-2" either side, the total weight added was no more than 5-10lbs after the conversion. And these are steel panels not fiber glass. The entire process will take 4-5 weeks pending on if you want to do any extras...I did the extra air scoop on the bottom. For more details just call up Raj directly. Oh did I also mention it's very reasonably priced?

Personally I think your TT will look awesome with the widebody conversion...best of luck!

Peter
