New 996 GT2 owner here!
Hey everyone!
I thought I would make a little introduction thread for my new beast I just picked up. I bought it locally here in Montreal about 2 month ago and I've been in love ever since.
So ya, just joined the forums now even though I've been lurking for about a year. Anyways, enough talking, here are some pics of my new ride!

Actually yes. I really want to do an exhaust mod soon, but as of right now I'm working with a local company (they're using my car as their tester) to develop a sick shifter kit. I do a lot of lapping (PCOA, Club Tremblant etc) and I would really like to have something more agressive in terms of feel for my shifter. I owned a full race prepped E30 M3 before the GT2, and it have a huge shifter setup with a dog box. Now I know I can't get the dog box feeling with a normal 6 speed tranny, but I'm trying to get as close as possible.
Anyways, I'll be making a thread about the development of the part their making for me soon...it's pretty sweet.

NICE!!! Welcome to a very exclusive Club.... I have always LOVED Porsches in red and I think your GT2 looks amazing.
Let us know how the modifications go and tell us what your driving experience in the Car feels like.
Like you, I track my GT2 a ton and have worked really hard on getting it set up for Laguna Seca and other local tracks in Northern CA. If you want, I can share some of what I have learned...
Cheers...

Let me know if you need some help sometime, i am getting good with these cars.
