A dream come true - my new GT2

It's great to see so many of the 996 GT2 owners turning up on 6speedonline.
AlexN.. I just noticed in your Sig that you also have a 2009 JCW Mini !! I do too... It's the sapphire blue.. Great little Car that you can chuck around and four wheel drift at will. It's my Girlfriend's Car and it makes me giggle like a kid whenever I drive it...
AlexN... I'm very happy for you and I am glad that my musings and general enthusiasm for the Car helped you make the decision to buy one... These 996 GT2's are just astounding Cars once you do a couple of tweaks to the suspension etc..
It sounds like you got a near pefect Car and with the GMG suspension stuff on it, plus the stage 2+ power, I think you have a Car that is close to perfection.
Of all the Cars I have owned (and I have owned a LOT of Cars), this GT2 has a kind of aura about it. Every time I get into it and drive it, it has that feel of a caged animal just waiting to hit the right roads to unleash it's wicked abilities.
On the freeway I get dozens of thumbs up from the other drivers, I have had people chase me down and stop me, just to tell me how happy they are to see a GT2 being driven, or to tell me the Car looks "evil" as one guy put it.
No matter how exotic a Car you run into, chances are there are more of them on the road than there are of the GT2.. there were only 90 of the 2003 996 GT2's that were brought int the USA and I doubt that there are more than 60 or so remaining.
The reputation of the GT2 among the rest of the Automotive world is something akin to the reputation Mike Tyson used to have.. "The Widowmaker" is held in high regard, even by Ferrari and FanBoi GTR owners and is downright feared by them..
Some say that the 996 GT2 runs best, not on high octane gasoline, but on a combination of diced kittens, asbestos and the souls of dead racing drivers.. if you're not careful, it might eat your neighbor's children if it has been left in the garage too long without proper excercise..
Some aslo say that the 996 GT2 is the source for the GT1 engine and not the other way around and that when they tried put the GT2 engine into the Le Mans race car, they had to hire a Lion Tamer to help the engineers persuade it into the engine bay.
Cheers.. and I look forward to hearing your impressions of the Car...

thanks for the compliments guys,
Yes, Champion wheels are hard to beat. the only issue is that the selection of tires is very limited when you are 19" wheels.
not too many options in the 315/25/19 size...
Here are a few more photos of the car from an open house at GMG.
Did I mention this car was being detailed weekly?

I thought you were going for "The most interesting car in the world" theme. Stay thirsty my friends.
