No, cant say there is that material is hard enough to weld let alone have it be asthetically Pleasing when done. Your getting full penetration on the welds, leaving enough material on the cap to strengthen the product rather then weaken it. The Coloration shows your not over heating the metal. i would not change a thing so far but feel free to send me a sample of your exhaust and headers for gt30's with external tial wastegate flanges and ill do a full write up with Ut verification of the welds. i can even get some xrays done mostlikly. do you think i can find a flaw? =)
