Yeah well you have to draw the line on 'bolt-on' turbos somwhere
The problem with some tuners is over designing the turbos
Some realize that with different cams installed you don't need to be part of the 'turbo of the week' club.

Heck, a good K24 with the larger impeller and new cams and such can bring great results(>600 hp). How many people want to run 1.4 bar on 91 octane with stock rods and stock studs, etc...?

Many out there love to design to have their customers change up periodically to the 'new' design when there is nothing wrong with the 'old' design..Pure marketing, pure $$$$, not pure customer service, as I have seen myself firsthand..

As the old Bullet Boys song goes:
'Smooth up in Ya'

We are still very much involved in Porsche tuning, some of the guys that used to be here have moved on to start other shops and we are currently under going a change of ownership, but Scott, Nick and myself are doing everything possible to get back to where we should be. We have Jason, a top notch Porsche tech turning the wrenches and don't forget we've been doing Turbo's as long if not longer than anyone in the business, we are building new relationships with companies on the cutting edge of Porsche tuning and are in the process of establishing a situation with Germantecc, who does R&D for most of the major aftermarket companies in the business. I'd appreciate if people would refrain from saying we're "not doing Porsche's anymore" because it's completly not true. Feel free to call with any questions 310.559.9670

Haven't you guys learned by now that the leader in ball-bearing turbo conversions is Protomotive? They can build motors to 1200hp. They've done big HP cars over and over again.

Why be penny-wise and pound foolish? If you believe you have the "best" sports car, I personally think you should only use the "best" tuners.

Some of you guys are too funny. It's amazing how gullible people on this board are to tuner marketing BULL****. I love how the last time I posted about Protomotive, guys were *****ing and moaning that they didn't have simple "Stage 1/2/3/X" to choose from, as if somehow that actually means something.

You tell them how fast you want to go, and they tell you how much it will cost, it's really pretty simple. HP figures don't mean ****, performance does. For me personally, I also think you guys need to pay more attention to tuners like Ruf, Manthey, PSI, RS Tuning, etc.

Amen!! Far too much bling on this board....doesn't rennlist have a more hardcore track-oriented following? not trying to bash, to each their own, but i have to say all of the tech-art front spoilers and body kits i see on this board make the car look like the old movie "corvette summer".
