Lets say that you have 60 lb injectors on a K24/18g setup(just picking a common turbo) and you want to just add E85. So you install an E85 system, and I am guessing much larger injectors to go with it. Is the tuning for E85 any different than for reg fuel. In other words are there other parameters that you need to worry about or is it similar. you datalog runs on dyno or pavement and tune accordingly? Approximately how much more injector do you need for E85?

 

Good rule of thumb is about 30% more volume. Basically you need about 1000 hp gas fuel system to make 700 hp on e85.

We have e85 cars running in your area already! The biggest hurdle is the fuel system itself... Injector choice and tuning is the "easy" part.

I would just do 1000cc injectors. There's no reason not to, if the fuel system is configured properly there is no downside.

The e85 cars are mostly Audi except for one 964 turbo.
