Hmm.... but thats super early.... 3rd takes you to over 100mph so you're not close to peak power and you've shifted..... based on that surely you're running sub 8's if you close to redline it ?

Are you running race fuel or is that vpower.... that just seems almost too quick given the above ?

But surely its power you need to run fast not torque.... else everyone would be shifting super early to nail these times... and they're not !!

My times are always slower when I shift so early... much slower.

I have googled pbox to find out some more, but cant find anything.
Could some one please educate me on what is the real name for a pbox and who makes it?
Can Durametric do the same?
Frank

While contradicting my previous post, I have had my fastest runs shifting higher, not earlier too. I believe it has more to do with losing boost between shifts and recovering quicker at higher rpm's.

Frank you need to look for Racelogic. I got mine from Balance Motorsport.

Just looked at my durametric runs, albeit with K24's just over 80mph is around 5400rpm. Car makes peak power at 6000rpm.

Incidently what does 2nd and 3rd top out at (GPS, not speedo)? Recorded 0-100mph in 8.4sec also, with a soft launch and 100mph in 4th.

Supermarket super unleaded pump fuel, equiv to your 93 US fuel I believe.
