Service

How often should I take my 2005 TTS to the dealer for service? It had a full service right before I bought it 1 month ago, including new battery and tires.

Should I take it to dealer for oil change as well or use someone cheaper? How often?

Dealer? Never

Plenty of shops in the bay area.

There is no such thing as a "full service". It is not a defined term, it does not equate to any set of service items.... it is really a useless term, unless you are a salesman and the buyer says "Oh, great- good to hear it had a full service done" and the buyer asks no more questions.

Did they change coolant? tranny fluid? New brake pads and rotors? Flush brake fluid? Plugs?

Sharkwerks is nearby... you should do a search as I seem to recall threads on "recommend a dealer in the bay area"...

dont use the dealer, a good indy will do a better job for cheaper

if no mechanical issues are apparent, oil change and filter at regular interval, air filter and cabin filter. if they didn't do it before might check the front radiators for debri, or leaves / trash hiding in the bumper

how often do you drive your car?
